Cardiovascular Consultants of Nevada welcomes Dr. Howard J. Broder to the group’s team of highly skilled cardiologists.  Dr. Broder is currently welcoming new patients.

Dr. Broder earned his Baccalaureate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in International Economics and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma from Harvard University.  He went on to attend medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed his Internal Medical Residency as well as his Advanced Cardiology training at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Special Competency in Adult Echocardiography and Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.

Dr. Broder has authored several manuscripts and abstracts and has been active in clinical research at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai.  He has achieved excellence in heart catheterizations, and percutaneous coronary interventions.  Dr. Broder also has a special interest in Structural Heart Disease, including percutaneous closures of Patent Foramen Ovale as well as Atrial and Ventricular Septal Defects.  Dr. Broder has had considerable experience with the treatment of advanced structural heart disease which is currently being evaluated in clinical trials.

He moved to Nevada with his wife in August 2009 and in his free time enjoys exploring the many hidden virtues of Las Vegas and traveling.
